Shepard Fairey: birth name is Frank Shepard Fairey and was born on February 15, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina; he was part of the skateworld and noticed his artistic abilities when he started to place his drawings on t-shirts and skateboards; Fairey graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy in 1988 and then Rhode Island School of Design in 1992 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustrator.
